Select a Placement Point to use when placing the valve.
Expand the Properties section of the dialog.
Accept the default tag number, or enter a new value if required.
Make any necessary changes to the component properties in the
corresponding fields.
Select an insertion point for the valve using one of the following
scenarios:
Snap to the open port
of an existing component.
Select an existing
pipe length then a specific location along the pipe for the valve.
Optional: The
Spec Record Selection displays when it is necessary to
specify gasket and bolt types for the joint connections. Select the desired
record and click
OK to continue.
Optional: If the valve requires an operator, you may be prompted
to select an orientation for the operator. Pick a point in the drawing to
define the orientation, or right-click to place the valve without an operator.
The operator can be added later if desired.
One the valve is placed, right-click to end the command.
